You are warmly invited to join us for a special community sing of Part One of Handel’s beloved oratorio, Messiah—a treasured tradition and a powerful way to begin the Advent season together through music, which we will close with the treasured "Hallelujah Chorus."
Whether you’ve sung the Messiah many times or simply love its soaring melodies and timeless message, all voices are welcome. This is not simply a performance, but a shared community musical experience—an opportunity to lift our voices together in joy and reverence as we sing of prophecy, hope, and peace.
Rehearsals will take place November 2 - November 30, 2025 from 3pm-5pm. You must attend 4 of the 5 rehearsals to sing at the concert.
Dress rehearsal with the orchestra will take place on Friday, December 5, 2025.
The performance will take place Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 4pm.
The cost to participate is $25 ($13 for the cost of your score with shipping and $12 towards the cost of our orchestra). If you would like to use your own score, you are welcome to do so, but it must be the Novello Edition (ed. Watkins-Shaw, with the orange cover). We would also that you donate $15 toward the cost of the orchestra if you bring your own score.
